I was lucky enough to get to shoot Wilson Dixon for ‘The Inner Comedian’ exhibition when he was in town a couple of months ago. He was still working on his new show/album which he unleashed to sold out Wellington and Auckland audiences over the last couple of weeks. What an amazing talent the man is! I was lucky enough to get to see his new show last night which was a wonderful mix of country music and Wilson’s witty stories. If you missed out, make sure you get in quick next time he’s here! I will be.
Wilson Dixon is part of ‘The Inner Comedian’ Exhibition on now in the Aotea Centre foyer. Today is the last day of the exhibition so make sure you get in quick if you’ve been planning to get along!

Mike King is a legend in Kiwi comedy and showed why in his show last night with Brendhan Lovegrove, ‘It’s Black & White’. Two kiwi comedy legends on one stage. Funnily enough much laughter followed ensued. Well worth getting along to their last night tonight if you can get a ticket.
Mike King is part of ‘The Inner Comedian’ exhibition on now at the Aotea Centre foyer. The exhibition closes tomorrow so your last chance to get in to see it.

When Brendhan Lovegrove came into my studio about 3 months ago he told me all his jokes were dark at that time. He’d given up alcohol about 3 weeks prior and was finding it hard to write jokes that weren’t dark. Well last night in his show with Mike King ‘It’s Black & White’ he showed he’s well and truly through the dark period. Hilarious is a good way to describe it. It’s all new material and well worth checking out this multiple NZ Comedy Guild Best Comedian award winner.
Brendhan Lovegrove is part of ‘The Inner Comedian’ exhibition which finishes tomorrow in the Aotea Centre foyer.
