  • When Brendhan Lovegrove came into my studio about 3 months ago he told me all his jokes were dark at that time.  He’d given up alcohol about 3 weeks prior and was finding it hard to write jokes that weren’t dark. Well last night in his show with Mike King ‘It’s Black & White’ he showed he’s well and truly through the dark period. Hilarious is a good way to describe it. It’s all new material and well worth checking out this multiple NZ Comedy Guild Best Comedian award winner.  Brendhan Lovegrove is part of ‘The Inner Comedian’ exhibition which finishes tomorrow in the Aotea Centre foyer.
